My craft room is completely empty! I haven't seen it like this for 6 1/2 years. Now all of it's contents are boxed and stacked in the dining room. We have decided to pack the house one room at a time and stage everything in the dining room so on moving day we don't have to go up and down the stairs. One room at a time is more manageable than one whole house I think. I also plan on cleaning as I go so that once a room is done it's completely done. I still have to vacuum and sweep the walls and wash the windows in that room but the hard work is done.
The way I figure it I have to pack one room a day if we are to move on the 18th. We may not be moving that soon but that would be ok too as long as we DO move.
So, here's to getting it all done!

so where's your new house?
South end of Puyallup...Near Gem Heights. Farther south than we wanted to be but we were able to get more house for our money down there and since I am home all the time more house was neccesary (it's really about the same size as this house, just in a better school district).
Yeah you go girl! Even cleaning the rooms before you leave how nice. You do windows? I so avoid them ... LOL :)
So house warming? I can't wait :)
WOOO! If you are near Gem Heights you will be way closer to both me and Jeanie. ...But rather farther from the yarn shop.
Make sure you keep a project or three out so that you have something to work on to keep your sanity.
I am planning on a housewarming and yes LJ I have already figured I would be closer to you and Jeanie - spin group again? I have strategecally placed bits of knitting and spinning about the house so as to have them handy (knowing my luck I'll actually get packed on time and then have closing delayed by a week).
