Well, here it is the finished 'spun gold' The ounce of locks yielded about 52 yards of worsted weight gold yarn. I am pretty happy with it even though it got less gold like and more '70's shag carpet' as I spun it. It's still all sparkly and that just tickles me to no ends.

I also finished plying my lacewieght and after a reality check with the spinning I realized I was still underplying (a chronic problem for me) and started being more patient with it and in the end I got the results I was hoping for. I am really looking forward to knitting with this yarn, I am thinking I will make something out of Nancy Bush's 'Knitted Lace of Estonia.'
